"In between going to school and work, watching other people's children, track practice (Dave is the assistant coach), trips to the grocery store and Costco, play group, church callings, doctor's apt., going to the zoo (we have a membership), paying bills, park & library day, studying for tests, dentist apt. (there have been tons of these!), more doctor's apt., sitting in traffic and cooking and cleaning up meals, Dave and I have been in a "few" states since Christmas. A "few" states meaning 18! Including all of the states surrounding Philadelphia, New York, Washington, Utah (twice), Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, West Virginia, and Ohio. Crazy huh? Back in January we took another trip up to NYC to the temple. It is very refreshing to be in the temple and feel the peace and safety therein. Central Park is only 2 blocks away and Jarom and David went there while I was inside (then we trade off), but while they were there they played on the same rocks featured on Night at the Museum! Every time Jarom watches that movie he points out "his" rocks. (Look for them the next time you watch the film) We are excited to go up there again in 3 weeks when Dave's brother Matt comes out and visits us!

"In February, Jarom and I went to Utah to speak at a conference held at the University of Utah. It was well. The weather was fantastic! We enjoyed being with grandparents and siblings! Our next trip out- 3 weeks later was for me to speak at a poster session at BYU. For this one I needed a professional poster made. It looked super- thanks to the College of Nursing. While I was picking up my poster, I saw another poster advertising the College of Nursing's upcoming Research Conference- there were 3 pictures on the poster and one of them was of me!! I had presented at this conference last year and they were using my picture. It's a little eerie to see you picture on a poster all over campus- cool but eerie."
